Veggies

As you will soon see, I love things that can be hung up on the wall. Add a good price, a vintage look, and a cute subject matter, and I'm sold!

Cue these adorable wooden veggies!

It was half off everything day at the Roseville Hospice Thrift Store, which is always dangerous for us (meaning we want to buy everything), so these were an obvious, no-hesitation purchase. Even the cashier who rang me up made a comment about them.

They're definitely on my list of favorites. (Okay it's a really big list.) But they're so cool! I gushed over them the rest of the day. Thank you to whoever donated these!

Magnets

Over the years, I seem to have acquired a small magnet collection. Some of them are souvenirs (I'm big on magnets and keychains), some gifts, and the rest are of course thrifted. I'm here to show you my thrifted ones!

These two come from the Roseville Hospice Thrift Store. I love them both. I was Rosie the Riveter for Halloween a few years ago, and Ed and I went to Yosemite for my birthday last year (they didn't have much in the souvenir department so I only got postcards when we were actually there). Plus how cute are those raccoons?!

These come from ... either a yard sale or a community yard sale at a church. I can't remember which. I do remember that they were in a box FULL of magnets.

The owl comes from a community church yard sale. He used to be sitting on a small "branch" made out of what looked like a piece of coral reef, but he fell of the fridge a few too many times and that part broke. The 2 comes from the same box as those three from above. (I just didn't want the owl in a photo all by his lonesome.)

These guys come from the Roseville Hospice Thrift Store. Such cute little veggies! I had to have them.
